What Your Day Looks Like - Traveling between panel workshops and assessing vehicle damage in your regional area
- You will be responsible for meeting with panel workshop team members to ensure the quality of work completed is of the highest standard
- Undertaking desktop assessments when an in-person inspection is not required
- Ensuring the vehicle damage is in line with the claim, and updating the customer
- Providing suggestions to ensure repair quotations are accurate and cost-effective
- Discussing any issues or enquiries the repairer might have
- Authorising repairs, recommending settlement, and approving invoices
- Dealing with any complaints from the customer and resolving these efficiently
- Assisting with quality audits and ensuring work is completed in line with manufacturers' requirements
What you will bring: - Cert III, in Automotive Body Repair Technology, or Automotive Mechanical Technology
- At least 2 years of motor assessing experience with an insurer
- A passion for delivering outstanding customer service
- You will enjoy building relationships with the panel shop team members and the ability to negotiate the best outcomes when any challenges are met
- A passion for providing outstanding service to all stakeholders, the ability to think on your feet and drive high quality and cost efficiency
- Current driving license
