Account Manager to join a leading company in the insurance and claims management sector.
Key Responsibilities: - Manage and nurture day-to-day relationships with clients, providing troubleshooting support and analysis to identify trends in claims, cost, and root causes.
- Collaborate with clients to implement processes and procedures that reduce risks and improve safety and performance.
- Educate clients on compliant claims management, industry codes, and legislation.
- Proactively engage with clients to manage pre-claim activities, such as injury prevention and performance improvement.
- Lead claims reviews and ensure meetings are focused and productive.
- Identify cross-sell opportunities to grow client relationships and contribute to revenue targets.
- Analyse performance trends and develop strategies to improve client service and satisfaction.
- Maintain strong internal relationships to ensure service delivery aligns with client needs.
- Prepare and present executive reports, service recovery plans, and monitor client retention.
Skills & Experience: - Strong communication skills with the ability to manage conflict and maintain positive relationships.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with Salesforce is desirable.
- Experience in the insurance, workers' compensation, or claims management sectors is preferred (1-3 years).
- Knowledge of legislation and industry best practices in claims management is a plus.
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with both clients and internal stakeholders.
- Experience in strategic engagement, identifying business opportunities, and managing service recovery plans.
