About the RoleReporting to the Account Director, the Account Manager is a hands-on, dynamic professional responsible for managing a diverse portfolio of accounts. You’ll excel in broking, compliance, and client relationships while contributing to the growth and success of the business.
Key Responsibilities Broking - Manage a portfolio, including new business, renewals, endorsements, and client retention.
- Build trusted partnerships with clients by delivering outstanding service and tailored solutions.
- Exceed KPIs and drive business growth by securing new business opportunities.
- Stay informed on market trends and their impact on clients and business.
- Develop networks with underwriters, funders, and industry stakeholders.
Operations & Compliance - Maintain compliance excellence, ensuring all processes meet legislative and regulatory standards.
- Keep databases, files, and reports updated and consistent with company policies.
- Support the Account Director in resolving escalated client matters.
- Actively participate in business continuity planning, projects, and operational improvements.
Team Collaboration - Prepare content for internal and external communications, including market insights and training materials.
- Support onboarding and training of new staff, fostering a culture of collaboration and excellence.
- Embrace company vision, values, and commitment to delivering exceptional client outcomes.
About You - 3+ years’ experience as an Account Manager in the insurance broking industry.
- Proven customer service excellence with a strong commercial approach.
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
- Familiarity with platforms like Winbeat, OfficeTech, Sunrise, SVU, and SCTP (desirable).
- Tier 1 Broking qualification (essential); tertiary qualification in financial services (highly regarded).
